What a year it has been for Off-Road Racing as well as Fantasy Off-Roads inaugural season! There have been ups, downs, table tops, whoops, crashes and more... and that's just on the Fantasy side! Yes, we had our issues...we are the first to admit it. However, we also had many successes! So, now Fantasy is going to present their Top 10 Countdown for Successes and Failures... Top 10 Failures: 10. Site getting hacked..... 9. Not getting TORC involved.... 8. Attempted to work with NORRS (ha! Maybe that should be #1) 7. Not getting bigger logo placement on Chris Brant and Carey Harts trucks.... 6. Driver Lists not accurate or complete (however, we will hold Lucas Oil somewhat responsible for not making drivers register a week earlier).... 5. Girls on the site (or the lack thereof).... 4. Delay in results posting.... 3. Not enough Fantasy Desert Races.... 2. Writing (content) not as 'fun' or edgy as when the site began... 1. Ummm.....we are broke dudes...game play is O-Vah! (Just kidding). Top 10 Successes: 10. Sponsored Pistol Pete for the Baja 500... 9. Sponsored Chris Brandt and Carey Hart... 8. Launched Forums.... 7. Launched a store (even though we arent huge yet...just wait) 6. Broke news on Jason Ellis racing.... 5. Were able to meet most requests by users... 4. Made a 10 lb. Rubber Band Ball (wait a minute....) 3. Got close to a 1,000 users (not players) in the 1st year... 2. Successfully crowned a winner! Congrats to Dezertmom!.... 1. Have some great fans playing Fantasy! (I know...to sentimental? Fine! I would have won had I not felt guilty about winning our own prize!) Yes, its been quite the year for Fantasy...and guess what?! Yup, we will be back for 2010! And we have some pretty exciting things in store for the fans! Just wait... Fantasy...Off-Road Style! |
