Official Definition:  Off-Road racing began in the early '70's and became mainstream in 2006.  All racing occurs on a short track designed to bring dirt, fun and excitement to the front stage.  There are currently 7 categories that are recognized by the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series that are as follows:

Unlimited 4 -- full-size 4WD race vehicles, V8 engines, 800+ Horse Power (Fantasy Spin:  Turn it up & bring the noise!)

Unlimited 2 -- full-size 2WD race vehicles, V8 engines, 800+ Horse Power (Fantasy Spin:  800 HP on a short track?!  Packin' heat baby!)

Unlimited Lite -- compact/mid-szied 2WD race vehicles, 4 cylinder engines 300 Horse Power (Fantasy Spin:  Hit it & forget it!  Pedal to the metal and go airborne)

Super Lite -- mid-size 2WD, two seat, 200 Horse Power, spec class (Fantasy Spin:  Bully Dogs BEAST!)

Unlimited Buggy -- 1650 cc water-cooled 4 cylinder and VW Type 1 engine (Fantasy Spin:  Who needs water when you are going that fast around a track?!)

Limited Buggy -- 1600 cc VW Type 1 engine (Fantasy Spin: Vroooommmmm..... grip it & rip it!)

Kart -- single seat, custom-built mini race trucks, drivers 8-15 years old (Fantasy Spin:  Pee-Wee Super Power Racing!)

Unlimited UTV -- heavily modified UTV up to 800 cc in displacement (Fantasy Spin:  UTVs gone wild!)

Limited UTV -- limited class utilizing stock unmodified UTV frame and bolt on aftermarket parts. (Fantasy Spin:  It's all about the driving in this class - pick the best driver...win the points)

Modified UTV -- developmental modified class utilizing up to 1000 cc displacement.(Fantasy Spin:  UTVs on the JUICE!  Like Barry Bonds?.....)
